Each spring, as the snow melts away, the roadsides of Franconia, NH, reveal all the litter that has gathered over the winter months.

Earth Day isn't just about acknowledging environmental challenges; it's about rolling up our sleeves and cleaning up Mother Earth. This year, Badger Peabody & Smith agents and staff did just that. Steve Gorman, Abby Plante, Barbi Dickison, Vespar Duffy, Kate Kingston, Matthew Penner, Anne Foss, Elspeth Richardson and Shawna Murphy came armed with gloves, trash bags, and a collective determination, to pick up the roadside. It was a rainy morning here in Northern New Hampshire, but our Franconia office at Peabody & Smith Realty was covered in pink! Pink Flamingos!

Our office was the lucky recipient of a getting "Flocked" by the Profile School Class of 2022.

The class fundraiser is a popular one in the area! These pink beauties showed up sometime in the night, and were discovered when dawn arrived. These will be on our lawn for few days, until they make their way to their next destination - we have paid the Profile Class of 2022, $30 to have them leave a little faster and go to someone else's lawn...where will they turn up next?

Photo credit to Deb Ugo from our Franconia office. Thank you Deb and thank you to whoever "Flocked" us...they were at Iron Furnace Brewing on Sunday morning, so we have a good indication where they may have been sent from!

If you want to send these along to someone, feel free to get in touch with the senior class. You can also purchase "flocking" insurance, should you want to avoid this! Either way, feel free to contact Jill Brewer at Profile School, jibrew@profile.k12.nh.us
