Littleton, NH – Maggie Jones of Lancaster, a seasoned real estate agent for over 6 years, has changed brokerages and joined the firm of Badger Peabody & Smith Realty and will be based at the firm's Littleton office.
For Jones, her career in real estate started by chance. Jones said, "I moved to New Hampshire in 2015, began my own photography business, and set out to buy my first house. In the eight months of actively searching for the perfect home, I found I had cultivated a skill for real estate and really enjoyed it."
While based out of the Littleton office, Jones expects to continue to assist sellers and buyers in the greater Lancaster area and beyond. As with most of the agents in the Littleton office, Jones is also licensed in Vermont as well to assist folks on either side of the Connecticut River.
Badger Peabody & Smith Realty's Broker/Owner Andy Smith said, "Many of our agents have worked with Maggie in the past on a number of closings and the comments and feedback about Maggie and her level of professionalism really stood out. We are pleased to welcome Maggie to our team." He added, "Maggie will be working alongside Nikki Barrett in our Littleton office to learn more about our vision, company culture and our philosophy of putting the needs of our customers and clients first. Our philosophy is paramount in all of our transactions and it is something Maggie is completely familiar with as she's been doing that all along during her career."
When not working, Jones enjoys cycling, hiking, gardening and spending time outside with her partner and their dogs. She is also involved in the community serving on an advisory committee for the Northern Forest Center, the Lancaster Master Plan Committee, and is Vice Chair of the Lancaster Planning Board.

NORTH CONWAY, NH — Malcolm Badger grew up visiting his grandfather Dick's office at Badger Realty in North Conway, and as a new sales agent for Badger Peabody & Smith Realty, continues the family legacy.
Badger grew up in Jackson, graduated from Kennett High School, and spent a gap year as a teaching assistant at the International School Ikast-Brande in Denmark. He graduated cum laude from George Washington University in Washington DC, in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a Minor in Business Administration.
Badger began working at the North Conway real estate office as support staff and recently transitioned to the position of sales associate.
"It means a lot to me to work in this building where my grandpa was so well respected and so instrumental in the growth of the real estate industry in this region," says Malcolm. "Professionally, this is a huge opportunity. I know the area well and have the connections that will serve our clients better. I see a great future for the company and I'm grateful to be part of it."
"Malcolm brings a level of enthusiasm and a detailed knowledge of the business and the region," says Brendan Battenfelder, Vice-President of Sales for Badger Peabody & Smith and the managing broker at the North Conway office. "He comes from a family that is synonymous with the growth of real estate in our region and the state, if not the nation. He sets a tremendously high standard of excellence for himself and it translates well in serving our clients & customers."
The company encourages mentorships to support new staff and Battenfelder notes that Badger is in good hands under the guidance of broker associates Diane McGregor and Kathleen Sullivan Head. "We're more than colleagues here," he says. "We're close-knit, more like a family, and we offer lots of support to our staff."
"We are so pleased to have Malcolm transition to his new position as a sales agent, in the tradition of Dick Badger and Badger Realty," says Andy Smith, President of Badger Peabody & Smith Realty. "I know his grandfather would be tremendously proud of him working with a new generation of clients and customers. We are pleased to have him at our North Conway and Jackson offices."

Turchon graduated with a business degree from Plymouth State University. He gained years of valuable sales and customer service experience working as a buyer/manager in the snow sports industry. His background as a freelance photographer has also been an asset to his real estate career bringing "a creative element to my workflow."
Turchon was previously a successful agent at another real estate company, but joined Badger Peabody & Smith Realty after sitting down with Andy Smith, the company's President, and listening to his business philosophy. It was a year that brought new business protocols and an influx of buyers unlike anything we had seen before.
To celebrate the highlights of the year, we gathered virtually in early February to recognize our agents and staff. This year the applause was over the speaker of the computer, but the smiles and exuberating of our team was as loud as ever.
