A Chat With Our Home Seller in Bristol, NH

We are pleased to bring you a chat with one of our current sellers on
Newfound Lake in Bristol, New Hampshire. Our homeowners at
Unit #27 Manor Estates Condominium on West Shore Road in Bristol, NH have owned their home for many years. They were the first and only owners of this home and now offer this comfortable, open floor plan, multi-level condo that has been a place of wonderful memories for their now grown children, friends and extended family across all four seasons.
Some of the features of this property include the fact that it is an end unit, with two spacious family rooms, fireplace, screened in porch, 2 full baths, 4 bedrooms, a one car garage, lots of play area steps outside the door, and a quick walk to a beautiful, sandy and kid-friendly beachfront and mooring field.
To get a sense of what is like to live on Newfound Lake in Bristol, we asked a few questions:
P&S: At this time, you feel the time is right to leave the beautiful Newfound Lake community. What led you to this decision?
Sellers: Our children are young professionals and involved in their own busy lives. All of our wonderful Manor Estates friends who shared decades of fun with us have made transitions. Our friends and family are too far away. Letting go is not easy. But it is time for another family to build their own cherished memories of
Newfound Lake.
P&S: Why is it great to live in the Newfound Lake area? What did you enjoy about the Newfound area?

Sellers: We loved boating, tubing, waterskiing, sitting on the beach, hiking, biking and excursions to the beautiful
White Mountains.
P&S: Where do you shop and dine in Bristol and around the Newfound Lake community?
Sellers: The convenience of grocery shopping is terrific. We can take a short walk to
Shackett's and get what we need. The kids loved the freedom of being able to go to the store or to the takeout food/ice cream shack.
Our favorite shopping was always at the nearby
Tanger Outlets in Tilton, NH. Lots of choices for everyone! Also very enjoyable are the shops and restaurants in beautiful
Meredith, NH – right at the foot of
Lake Winnipesaukee.
Dining out options ranged from
The Homestead Restaurant and Tavern, which is fun for all ages, to the takeout at the end of the lake which we could get to by boat as well as by a short drive.
A special treat was taking the boat over to the
Inn on Newfound Lake to have a delicious dinner watching the spectacular sunsets over Newfound Lake!
P&S: What did you look forward to the most when you came to your home at Newfound Lake?

Sellers: Spending quality time with our family and friends. We enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the lakes and mountains.
P&S: What cultural events and other types of events can you recommend to people coming into the community?
Sellers: We enjoyed regional theater at
The Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith and visiting sites throughout the White Mountains like
Cannon Mountain,
Lost River and more. Close by, the kids and their friends loved to go to
Sculptured Rocks for an adventure or hike
Mount Cardigan.
The children enjoyed many day camp experiences, including swimming lessons on the lake, nature camp on the lake at
Paradise Point Nature Center, sports camp at
New Hampton School,
theater camp in Meredith, and other events at
Plymouth State University.
P&S: What tips would you give to new people coming into the community?
Sellers: Take advantage of all that is available. Enjoy!
P&S: What were the favorite features of your home? What did you enjoy the most?

Sellers:
- The ability to have private space for us, plenty of space for the kids and their friends, and room to accommodate up to a dozen overnight guests (friends and family).
- The short steps to the beautiful beach with gradual depth perfect for small children and those of us who like to cool off without having to swim.
- The large side yard that we used for outdoor cookouts, picnics, ball games, flashlight tag and the occasional water balloon fight!
- Having an end unit with more light and privacy. We could keep an eye on the kids playing on the large side yard from our living room window or from the deck.
- The convenience of having the boat moored or docked right across the street.
- An open floor plan so we could engage with our family and friends while preparing meals or playing a board game.
