Jackson, NH - Badger Peabody & Smith Realty held their annual award celebration in mid-January with a lunch and award presentations, at the Red Fox Bar and Grill in Jackson, NH.

Andy Smith, Broker/Owner of Badger Peabody & Smith Realty said, "This special event for our agents and staff, is a real highlight of the year. We are proud each year to recognize our agents and staff for the many ways they help their clients and customers. We also enjoy recognizing the good our team does in the communities they serve as well."

The Residential Sales Associate of 2025 was presented to Beth Horan of the firm's Franconia office. Horan has been in real estate for over twenty-six years specializing in residential and land in the Western White Mountains of New Hampshire. Smith said, "Beth is a tremendous resource to buyers and sellers and enjoys helping folks on their journey home. Beth is known for her calm demeanor, her market knowledge and her willingness to go the extra mile to help sellers and buyers."

The firm also recognized the top agents for each of the other offices. Berlin/Gorham NH office, the top agent was Don Lapointe. Bretton Woods, NH office, top agent was Matthew Penner. North Conway, NH office was Kevin Killourie. Plymouth, NH office, top agent was Missy Sullivan. Littleton, NH office, top agent was Nikki Morrison. Jackson, NH office, top agent was Kathleen Sullivan-Head. Holderness, NH office, top agent was Jerrod Mitchell.

Mt. Washington Level sales achievement awards to: Beth Horan.

The annual Norman Head Three Pound Sledgehammer Award is given to an agent at the firm who has a willingness to help their fellow agents and always has a helpful attitude throughout the year. This year the award was presented to Ralph Cronin out of the North Conway, NH office. According to Smith, Cronin received many nominations. He added, "The nominations pointed out that he always helped with market knowledge, helping other agents with guidance or even just picking up a hammer and fixing something – he's always there with skills and a smile."

The Badger Peabody & Smith Realty Good Neighbor Award is awarded from nominations from the agents and staff. The BPS Good Neighbor Award recognizes the agent that makes an extraordinary impact on their community through volunteer work. The award was presented this year to Missy Sullivan from the Plymouth office and Jackie Elliott from the Holderness office

Sullivan and Elliott were chosen because they have both spearheaded a number of projects in the Central New Hampshire communities – including the participation in the PSU Trim a Tree program in December, a fundraiser they organized in Bristol as well as help they offer monthly to the Plymouth Area Senior Center.

The Badger Peabody & Smith Realty Above and Beyond staff award was presented to Honour Kidd out of the North Conway office. "Honour consistently goes "above and beyond". Smith said. He added, "She is always willing to help out anyone with a question, come up with new initiatives to offer solutions, provide insight and will move mountains to help the agents and staff."

Smith added, "While we celebrated our staff and agents, at the end of the day, we were pleased to be such an integral part of the lives of our sellers and buyers. We thank our clients and customers for allowing us to help them with their real estate needs."

We Recognize Our Peabody & Smith Realty Agents & Staff!

The year 2020 was certainly out of the ordinary, and for many, filled with personal pain. In our company, we experienced all kinds of emotions and at all different times – and sometimes in just a minute! The real estate market in New Hampshire was strong starting in the spring, and continued strong through 2020. It was a year that brought new business protocols and an influx of buyers unlike anything we had seen before.

To celebrate the highlights of the year, we gathered virtually in early February to recognize our agents and staff. This year the applause was over the speaker of the computer, but the smiles and exuberating of our team was as loud as ever.

In 2020, we recorded grand total, gross sales in excess of $208 million dollars, according to statistics from the Northern New England Real Estate Network. (Based on data from the New England Real Estate Network, grand total gross sales, NH & VT, all categories for time period 1/1/2020-12/31/2020.)

We distributed over $20,000 to area organizations including: AHEAD, Boys and Girls Club of the North Country, Franconia Ski Club, Holderness Historical Society, Littleton Regional Healthcare, Squam Lakes Association & Many More!

At the end of the award ceremony, we awarded the "Peabody & Smith Realty Residential Sales Associate of 2020" to Beth Horan. Beth has been with the firm for over 20 years and works in the Franconia office and services clients and customers in the North Country.

We also recognized the top agents for each office, and with that, we recognized the following agents:

Littleton, NH Office: Nikki Barrett

Plymouth, NH Office: Missy Sullivan

Holderness, NH Office: Jerrod Mitchell

Highest Overall Customer Satisfaction Rating in 2020 – this award is compiled from all of our returned surveys – Fran Mattott was awarded this with the highest overall customer satisfaction rating. (5 is the highest you can get on our surveys and sometimes clients and customers write in higher numbers.)

We enjoy the season as we spend a bit of time preparing for our annual award ceremony for our Peabody & Smith agents and staff. This year, on February 4th, we held our annual award recognition breakfast at the Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth NH. Here are some of our highlights we shared at the ceremony:
