February
11

Every winter, we love to gather together and celebrate the year, and those around us that help make it all possible.

This year we gathered on Saturday February 1st at the Mountain View Grand Resort in Whitefield for our annual awards and celebration event! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, we presented some awards, danced the night away and even enjoyed some time in the photo booth! The location served as a great meeting place for all of our offices from Berlin/Gorham to Holderness, Littleton to North Conway.

Andy Smith, Broker/Owner of Badger Peabody & Smith Realty said, "This event is such a highlight of the year. Our agents work so hard all year long for our clients and customers and it is nice to have one night to gather together and share their success and celebrate all they have done to help their sellers and buyers get to the closing table."

The Residential Sales Associate of 2024 was presented as a highlight of the evening. We award the top agent at each office and this award is awarded to the top agent of all the offices. This year the Residential Sales Associate of 2024 was presented to Beth Horan of our Franconia office. Beth has been in real estate for over twenty-five years specializing in residential and land in the Western White Mountains of New Hampshire. Beth is a tremendous resource to buyers and sellers and enjoys helping folks on their journey home. Beth offers a calm demeanor, confidence and goes the extra mile to help.

Congratulations Beth!

Don has been a great resource to everyone, from helping out around the office, to meeting the FedEx person to track down a check for closing to everything in between – he's a wonderful team player! Always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. We are thankful for all Don does to help his fellow agents in Berlin/Gorham office and beyond.

The Badger Peabody & Smith Realty Good Neighbor Award is awarded from nominations from the agents and staff. The Good Neighbor Award recognizes the agent that makes an extraordinary impact on their community through volunteer work. The award was presented this year to Wendy Holmes from the North Conway office.

Kevin Killourie nominated Wendy and spoke about her service to her community. "I can't tell you how many times I am flipping through the paper and see Wendy's face, or name in the paper volunteering. A few years back, I was even driving around town and she was on the radio giving an interview for an upcoming Jen's Friends event, and doing it with great humor and compassion." He added, "She is just one of those people in the community who constantly contributes to make it more fun and even more magical. And she does it all with a smile, a great sense of humor, and a fantastic laugh."

The Badger Peabody & Smith Realty Above and Beyond staff award was presented to Christine Newton. Chris consistently goes "above and beyond". She is always willing to help out anyone with a question, get involved to help figure something out, provide insight and will move mountains to help the agents and staff. Thank you Chris for all you do!

We would like to thank the staff at the Mountain View Grand Resort for all their help planning the event, as well as all the service the day of and after the event. In addition, a big thank you to New Hampshire Audio Visual (NH A/V) - they lit the place up, took care of all of our audio and visual needs and more! Our DJ services were supplied by DJ Shamar (our very own Shamar Whyte!) and he did such a wonderful job with dinner music, music when folks came up for awards and choosing the vibe to fill up the dance floor! Our centerpieces and floral bouquets were beautiful and crafted by Emily Herzig Floral Design. We enjoyed our photo booth with gifs, videos and still photos from Sarah and her team at Magic Mirror of New England. In addition, our company photographer, Joe Viger Photography, did a wonderful job capturing formal photos of the night as well as great candids. Thank you Joe!! A big thank you to all of our partners who helped make this event so memorable as well as our in house event team - great job and thank you for all your help Elspeth Richardson, Debbie Anderson, Brendan Battenfelder, Andy Smith and Chris Newton.

Most importantly though, a big thank you to our clients and customers who we helped in 2024. It was our pleasure. If we can help you in the future, please reach out!
