The American Red Cross - California Wildfire Relief
As we enter a new year, we want to remember the communities in need and the challenges they continue to face. One such community is in California, where wildfires have devastated homes, businesses, and entire ecosystems. While recovery efforts are well underway, the road to rebuilding is long and fraught with challenges. That's why Jackie Elliott and Missy Sullivan, Realtors® in our area are coming together with the Newfound Lake Inn to support this critical cause, with all proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross - California Wildfire Relief Fund.
The American Red Cross California Wildfire Relief Fund ensures that donations are directly used to provide essential services such as:
- Emergency shelter and housing support
- Food, water, and basic supplies
- Long-term recovery assistance for families and individuals
- Mental health and emotional support services

Join us for an unforgettable evening dedicated to supporting wildfire relief efforts.
Event Highlights:
- Silent Auction: A wide range of exciting items will be available for bidding, from artwork, to experiences, and local goods.
- Live Music and Entertainment: Holycow-Jeff Lines will be hosting Music Bingo with prizes from 6-8 and playing tunes from 8-9. Be sure to call ahead for a table!

Our community has always been known for its generosity, and this event is another opportunity to prove that we stand together, no matter the distance or the cause. All proceeds will go directly toward supporting those who need it most.

The year 2020 was certainly out of the ordinary, and for many, filled with personal pain. In our company, we experienced all kinds of emotions and at all different times – and sometimes in just a minute! The real estate market in New Hampshire was strong starting in the spring, and continued strong through 2020. It was a year that brought new business protocols and an influx of buyers unlike anything we had seen before.
To celebrate the highlights of the year, we gathered virtually in early February to recognize our agents and staff. This year the applause was over the speaker of the computer, but the smiles and exuberating of our team was as loud as ever.
In 2020, we recorded grand total, gross sales in excess of $208 million dollars, according to statistics from the Northern New England Real Estate Network. (Based on data from the New England Real Estate Network, grand total gross sales, NH & VT, all categories for time period 1/1/2020-12/31/2020.)
We distributed over $20,000 to area organizations including: AHEAD, Boys and Girls Club of the North Country, Franconia Ski Club, Holderness Historical Society, Littleton Regional Healthcare, Squam Lakes Association & Many More!
At the end of the award ceremony, we awarded the "Peabody & Smith Realty Residential Sales Associate of 2020" to Beth Horan. Beth has been with the firm for over 20 years and works in the Franconia office and services clients and customers in the North Country.
We also recognized the top agents for each office, and with that, we recognized the following agents:

My Favorite Things On My Desk – From Missy Sullivan!
I work in the Plymouth office and couldn't be happier about it. I know many people have to commute to work, so I am very lucky that I can drive down my hill, take a couple of lefts and then a right and be at my desk at 'Team' Peabody & Smith Realty. I say team because that is what we are. Everyone looking out for one another and having a great time doing it!
I have to say that this is probably not a true representation of what my desk looks like all the time. There are usually piles to the left and right, but I am organized in knowing what is in each pile!
The things that I use the most for work would be my computer, a large calendar for quick glances when making appointments, and a good old planner. Most people have moved on from the plan... 2
