Named for their late grandfather, Dr. R.J. Schilling, the brewery recently celebrated their first decade in business. A traditional highlight of their European-inspired small-batch brews is Weihnachstbier, their annual holiday beer. Each year's version brings subtle differences in the flavor profile as the Cozzens honor the tradition of holiday Bockbier style. Hours are noon - 8 p.m. daily except Friday and Saturday, when doors are open until 9 p.m.

I was recently talking with one of my regular customers at my store about the local area, and she was surprised to learn I've lived here all my life. Alternatively, I was surprised to learn that she has not lived here much longer than a few years. She looked at me somewhat sheepishly and asked what I thought of new folks moving into the area.
