In Concord, call the New Hampshire Fish and Game, guardian of our state's fish, wildlife and marine resources. Saturday, January 20, 2018 is the perfect day for it. You can go ice fishing without a license on New Hampshire's second annual winter free fishing day.  

Activity #3: Cross-Country Skiing

For family-friendly fun, it's tough to beat cross-country skiing under a crystalline blue sky in New Hampshire. Children as young as 6 can have a great time skiing flat groomed trails, while more adventurous members of the family can strike out for woodland trails. And yes, there are hills when you go cross country! Activity #4:  McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

Sure to inspire every age level, the center is named after New Hampshire's native son, Alan B. Shepard, America's first astronaut, and Concord's Sharon Christa McAuliffe, one of seven crew members killed in the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion.
