I work in the Plymouth office and couldn't be happier about it. I know many people have to commute to work, so I am very lucky that I can drive down my hill, take a couple of lefts and then a right and be at my desk at 'Team' Peabody & Smith Realty. I say team because that is what we are. Everyone looking out for one another and having a great time doing it! I have to say that this is probably not a true representation of what my desk looks like all the time. There are usually piles to the left and right, but I am organized in knowing what is in each pile! The things that I use the most for work would be my computer, a large calendar for quick glances when making appointments, and a good old planner. Most people have moved on from the planner to their phone schedules, but I find that looking at the full month with all of my appointments helps me meet everyone's needs. Whether that be of a buyer or a seller, classes or meetings, or just planning something with the family. Anyone that knows me knows that I always have an unsweetened iced tea on my desk, in my car or in my hand. This gives me the little pick me up I need to get through the day. There are many things on my desk that make me smile and remind me why I do what I do. I have a wall of thank you notes. It is always such a wonderful feeling when a client or a friend sends along a note of appreciation for your hard work. I keep a few awards on my desk. This reminds me that hard work and determination pays off. I have a framed picture that a friend gave to me of one of my business cards and one of my mother's business cards. I learned from the best and it is nice knowing that real estate was always in my future. Thanks Mom for pushing me in the right direction! The last thing and most important to me would be the pictures of my family. This is a job that can be very demanding but rewarding.
