I always enjoy throwing out an alliteration or rhyme for my titles. I think, much like 'orange', there's not much I can do with appraisal (Maybe I need more coffee). I'm certainly open to ideas for next time! Today we're going to talk about some myths related to your home appraisal. We'll touch, briefly, on the differences between an appraisal and a home inspection (though mostly in end-result, not practice). It was a rainy morning here in Northern New Hampshire, but our Franconia office at Peabody & Smith Realty was covered in pink! Pink Flamingos!
 
Our office was the lucky recipient of a getting "Flocked" by the Profile School Class of 2022. 

The class fundraiser is a popular one in the area! These pink beauties showed up sometime in the night, and were discovered when dawn arrived. These will be on our lawn for few days, until they make their way to their next destination - we have paid the Profile Class of 2022, $30 to have them leave a little faster and go to someone else's lawn...where will they turn up next?

As you know I've been searching high and low for a new place to live. I've been bouncing back and forth between rentals and homes for sale. As a former home (and duplex) owner, I really hate the idea of renting (aka - paying someone else's mortgage). And with the market seemingly coming back to earth, perhaps this fall will be a fantastic time to make a purchase. Either way, I'm excited to finally have my own place.
