We've been busy and pleased to announce several staff additions and promotions at Peabody & Smith Realty during recent months! These additions and promotions help us provide even more services throughout the region to our clients and customers.

For us, as we grow, it is important for us to support our agents, which in turn benefits our clients and customers. These staff appointments allow us to truly offer a dedicated team to our clients and customers and further help our agents with the multi-faceted careers they have.

The new Executive Assistant at the Littleton office, Megan Landry assists the agents in all transactions from listing to closing and beyond.?She also supports the firm's marketing departments with social media initiatives. Megan is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a degree in sociology.

It's a great story, and true and when Jane told us earlier this year, we could picture it!

Jane shared a story that it's never too early to earn your customer service chops. At a very young age, Jane worked in a retail business where one of her jobs at Christmas was to open the toys and play with them in the store, which prompted people to purchase the train set or doll house because she was having so much fun.

Jane said, "This exposure propelled me into a lifelong career in various customer service-related?positions and eventually into Real Estate," she says. We have had the pleasure of welcoming Jane to Peabody & Smith Realty. Jane is a full-time Sales Associate in our Littleton office. Jane is from Dalton is has done a great job helping people find their place to call home and listing property.

Mom doing yoga with childToday we're going to talk about making your home a calm, peaceful retreat from the world. I Googled "Everything Zen" and enjoyed reminiscing about seeing Bush at Woodstock '99. Holy cow, they were loud! What a great band. My time living in Portsmouth, washing dishes at some restaurant, is truly the flash-back I have when I listen to that album. I honestly have no idea if that song has anything to do with being calm. From the guitar riffs, one would think not. Trip down memory lane aside (Go check out Bush if you have never heard them before!) let's dig in and discuss a few ways to "peace-out" your home and soothe the senses. After this scary weekend, it's time.

We visited some friends who have two small children. I think they're around 6 or 7 years old. Overall, I really don't like kids. This visit...
