The Peabody & Smith Team at the race![/caption]
We had a number of agents and staff participate on May 19th at the 2016 Merrimack County Savings Bank Rock 'N Race in Concord, NH. The race is a 5K for runners and walkers, and benefits the Concord Hospital Payson Center for Cancer Care – they raise funds to  insure that cancer patients receive the highest quality medical care and treatment options they need close to home at Concord Hospital Payson Center.
We had a great time, and as for us, only a part of our group participated in the actual race because there was heavy rain righ...
So it was my turn this week to talk about my desk and my favorite things in my office, we are going to change it up a bit. Instead we are going to talk about the dichotomy of the work office, the ying/yang of what an office really looks like and how its occupant views their space. First let me describe my office. I have an office with windows on two sides, I am very lucky. I look out towards the Dow Academy and Dow field, as well as down Main Street. I have a perfect view of the hub of Franconia. I get to see the activity and happenings of Franconia--the mountains, the lunchtime walkers, the weekend pickup soccer games and the occasional screech of tires from the intersection (Please be careful going through the main street intersection). I have an overhead light which I took the bulbs out of, I don't like the hum of fluorescent lights.  A bonus is I need to leave at 4:30 in the winter since it is dark outside.Â...

Meet Evan. Every day I get to bring this awesome little guy to work with me. He is the newest addition to the Peabody & Smith family and a hit with all the ladies. Joy & I even joke about how long I will be in the office by the number of diapers we have in the bag. For example: five- I'm here for while or 2- I'm only staying for an hour. Whether we are walking land, working on the computer posting our latest listings or out on showings, you will see my little sidekick with me.
It's a blessing having the opportunity to keep him by my si... [caption id="attachment_3379" align="alignleft" width="244"]

Sometimes in real estate, agents and staff take on a number of different roles. Sometimes they take on the role of counselor, cleaner, stager, photographer, chauffeur – the list can go on and on – and we don't mind! But most recently, in our Franconia office, it took an agent and 2 staff members and they took on a new role – that of Animal Rescuer!Â

We enjoy the season as we spend a bit of time preparing for our annual award ceremony for our Peabody & Smith agents and staff. This year, on February 4th, we held our annual award recognition breakfast at the Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth NH. Here are some of our highlights we shared at the ceremony:
