Twenty years ago we lived in Lake Placid, NY .
We liked it a lot, but had grown weary of working for others. Circumstances offered us the opportunity to make a drastic lifestyle move and become our own bosses. The big question was, of course, what to do. We rather quickly decided to explore the lodging or marina sectors of hospitality.
Our criteria was relatively simple:
As one story ends another begins. David & Nancy Ernsberger have owned and operated the popular gift shop "The Nest" for five years. Dave, who has been instrumental in a number of initiatives in Littleton, decided it was time for him to step back to focus on his projects and to spend more time with his family and closed the store this past September.
Emshika Alberini, owner of Chang Thai restaurant, as well as the building occupied by Little Village Toy & Bookstore, Blue Jay Café, The League of NH Craftsmen and One Stitch, Two Stitch, purchased the building at 97 Main Street last Friday. We were so pleased to be able to help the Hoffman family of Bethlehem, NH. After 32 years of owning and operating the Wayside Inn, the Hofmann family have sold the 26 bedroom lodge to Sarah Levy. Sarah is formerly of the greater Boston area and we welcome her to Bethlehem, NH!
Sarah has a background in hospitality working for Marriott International and receiving her degree in business from Temple University. She has exciting plans for the inn, including changes to the menu for the dining room, and more. The dining room at the Ways...
