Question: How long does it take to buy a home?
Answer: Once you have found a home and are under contract with the seller to purchase that home, it is about 60-75 days from that point until you close on the home and can move in.

Tiffany Howard: At Closing!!! Keys are exchanged after all of the necessary documents have been signed and funds have be transferred to all parties involved in the transaction.22

Beth Horan: Customarily, you should not plan on moving into a home prior to closing. Closing btw is otherwise known as transfer of title.
