There is a great new store in Littleton, NH - Chickaroo - on the Corner of Main & Cottage Street, at the lights!
I went in the other day, as Trisha has added to the inventory. There were a lot of interesting and VERY AFFORDABLE things to pick from! I love this store! If you've not been in yet, what are you waiting for? I was able to pick up some gifts for some closings coming up, some birthday gifts and a little something for me!! Stop by and say "Hi!" to Tricia...maybe Fred will be there, too! You'll be glad you did! Looking forward to going back again soon!

We always begin our year with a time to reflect and celebrate the past year – this year was no exception as we celebrated our Peabody & Smith Realty team on Saturday, January 28th at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, NH. We enjoy recognizing the hard work of our agents and staff and sharing some of the personal accomplishments they had as well. (This year we got to put some "new baby" photos up on the slide show – we always enjoy that!) The day started with a seminar for our agents and staff with national known and sought after speaker, Matt Ferrara. Matt has delivered more than a thousand seminars, retreats and training workshops in his career, and believes that "great ideas are the basis of great opportunity". Matt says, "I like to focus on innovative ideas whether they come from best practices in management, marketing and technology, or timeless ideas from history, science and art." We lo...

Welcome to the team, Carol![/caption]
Our Littleton office has had a busy year, and we are pleased to have our office full with the addition of Carol Kerivan to our team! Carol comes from a great background - sales and hospitality! What a great knowledge base to work from! Carol and her husband own and operate the successful Bear Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Bethlehem, NH. Carol has joined us as a Sales Associate and will be working with clients and customers in Northern New Hampshire.
When I asked why Carol was interested in real estate, she told me she is not new to real estate - she was licensed in Massachusetts while sh...

I wish the pictures that accompany this post could do this justice. The foliage was truly breathtaking. I think everyone agrees that it was one of the most vibrant foliage seasons in years. We lucked out and didn't have any leftover hurricanes blow through until the very end so the foliage stayed. Lots of reds, and we were all worried with the lack of rain there wouldn't be much of a foliage season, but it worked out very well. In these photos, the first floor Timbers were being put in place. This is a true timber frame home. They have been precision milled and there will be no nails or glue. Our office in Littleton is also an old Timber frame and there are just wooden pegs. The beams are very old and extremely dense - we need a hammer to even put in a tack. It's a pretty office with the exposed timbers and we believe (have n...
Squam Lake is nestled in the breathtaking Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Originally called Keeseenunknipee—the goose lake in the highlands—the lake's name was changed to Asquam and then shortened to Squam. The tranquil shores and picturesque beauty of Squam Lake was the site of the 1981 feature film "On Golden Pond," starring Henry Fonda, Katharine Hepburn, and Jane Fonda. Whether for a week or a lifetime, Squam Lake is the perfect place to call home.
