What is my New Hampshire home worth? That is a great question, one that most home owners ask themselves when they are thinking about selling their home. When I first started in real estate a mentor gave me this illustration of what a home is worth from different points of view, and it's proven to be fairly accurate after being in real estate for 5 years.

As homeowners, we always see the value in our home, mostly because it's where we have poured our blood, sweat and tears into and it will always special to us.
However, the true "fair market value" is what a willing seller and a willing buye...
After a busy week of running around from showings and making calls to our customers, employees of Peabody & Smith Realty need a way to slow down and laugh! So this is what we do…… 3-2-1-GO! Time to unwind! We go ski race in our backyard, the White Mountains! After all, what are we doing up here if we can't enjoy and laugh with each other at the end of the week. It usually goes like this: We group up to car pool from all of our offices to make the trek to Bretton Woods every Friday night of the winter. We meet up at the lodge, "boot up" and put on all our ski wear. Of course, as we do this, we talk business, though with a lighter note to it. We also make light of the chaos of week and realize that a cold drink, food and a night of skiing will resolve all our problems (at least for a few hours). And what a view! Every night we head up, it's a new look to the Mt. Washington range and was it ever beautiful this...

As you can see from the photos, at the time I took these, the foliage was just about peak and it was so beautiful.

The second floor was also getting put into place – and these beams are extremely heavy! So they were bringing in the big guns. They not only had a lift to put up some of the smaller beams but they had a crane on site as well to help with the placement of the larger and heavier beams. It was an "all hands on deck" moment.
