Sometimes it's giving a donation to an area non-profit, donating our time for a service project, and sometimes we give personally to help someone in our own company who may be going through a difficult time – that could mean a monetary donation, or a meal prepared for them. For many years, we have made annual donations to AHEAD - Affordable Housing Education and Development. These donations help AHEAD support their mission of developing and providing quality affordable rental housing, financial education, and home ownership opportunities in our communities in Northern & Central New Ham...

nikki barrettYou might look at these pictures and think, "There is NO WAY her desk looks like this!" I assure you, 95% of the time it does.  I'm a Type A personality and I have lists of lists and organization is something that comes naturally to me and is something that helps me be a great agent. As most Americans, we spend much of our time working.  I joke that I see my work "family" more than my real family, but it's true!  While not all of our time is spent in the office at our desks, a good portion is.  I am at ease in my office surrounded by things that remind me why I do my job – thank you notes and cards from past customers and clients; comical signs that make me smile when it's been "one of those days"; and of course the important things that help me keep on track and stay organized: calendar, IPad, phones (yes, cell ph...

We love to start the year with a party as we enjoy recognizing the hard work of our agents and staff! This year was no exception as we celebrated our Peabody & Smith Realty team on Saturday, January 23rd at the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, NH. The day started with a training seminar with David Knox. For the last 27 years, David has presented more than 3,000 seminars, to a half million people, in seven countries. He helps professionals in the real estate industry master their skills in sales & negotiation. He has been ranked as a top presenter at the last 25 National Association of Realtors conventions and we were really excited to have him live and in person – even after a flight delay! After David's great presentation, we enjoyed dinner in the Lake View room at the resort, and then shared a few highlights o...

missy sullivan desk I work in the Plymouth office and couldn't be happier about it. I know many people have to commute to work, so I am very lucky that I can drive down my hill, take a couple of lefts and then a right and be at my desk at 'Team' Peabody & Smith Realty. I say team because that is what we are. Everyone looking out for one another and having a great time doing it! I have to say that this is probably not a true representation of what my desk looks like all the time. There are usually piles to the left and right, but I am organized in knowing what is in each pile! The things that I use the most for work would be my computer, a large calendar for quick glances when making appointments, and a good old planner. Most people have moved on from the plan...

elspeth richardson deskI work in the Franconia office and my desk is one of the first things you see when you walk into the office! I try to keep it as tidy and neat as possible, which can be a daunting task in its self at times. Most of the items on my desk either help me day to day or hold special meaning to me. The items that help me with my job daily are my "to do list", my ergonomically styled keyboard, and my calendar. The calendar also has special meaning – it has been a tradition that has been passed down from my Grandmother, who was very near and dear to me.  When I was younger each of my mom's siblings would get this wonderful calendar for Christmas from my sweet Mimi. The calendar is created and distributed by the
