Franconia, NH - Badger Peabody & Smith Realty announced that seasoned real estate professional Bob Matheson has joined the firm, bringing more than 25 years of experience in residential and commercial sales, resort development, and client representation. He will work alongside his wife, Linda Matheson, a long-time member of the firm.

Matheson said the decision to join the firm was driven by what best serves his clients.

Originally from Hingham, Massachusetts, Matheson is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and spent 15 years sailing as a merchant officer before settling in New Hampshire's White Mountains. His real estate career includes resort development sales at Deer Park, Forest Ridge, Bretton Woods, Owl's Nest Golf Resort and South Peak Resort, giving him strong command of pricing strategies, market cycles, and client advocacy.

Matheson has also been deeply involved in community service. He served as a New Hampshire State Representative from 2006–2010, has served as the Board Chairman for the NH Children's Trust from 2014-2018, as well as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem advocating for children.
