Enjoying Fall Foliage: Scenic Drives Around the White Mountains
As summer gives way to fall, we're on the cusp of one of our real estate agents' favorite seasons in New Hampshire. It won't be long now until we reach peak foliage in the White Mountains, and these scenic drives offer great opportunities to take it all in.
- Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) - Conway, NH, to Lincoln, NH
Arguably New Hampshire's most famous scenic drive, the Kancamagus Highway is a meandering mountain road that heads westward from the town of Conway, featuring these Conway homes for sale, toward the heart of the White Mountains. Along this 34-mile stretch of NH-112, you'll see some incredible views as you gain elevation. Take some time to stop at pull-offs like the Hancock Overlook and Pemigewasset Overlook, or hike one of the several trails that have trailheads on the highway.
