Weirs Beach has great swimming, boating, fishing, and scuba diving—but it also has much more. There are bumper cars and go-karts; golf and mini-golf; and a variety of great places to eat, drink, and have fun. There are live concerts on the Boardwalk, nightly fireworks, and other events throughout the summer. The area also has a rich history that can be explored, dating back to the colonial era. It's an amazing place with fun adventures for adults, kids, and families alike.
- Gunstock Adventure Park - 719 Cherry Valley Rd., Gilford, NH 03249
There's no better way to see Lake Winnipesaukee than from the air. That's why Gunstock Adventure Park offers zipline tours all summer. One of the longest zipline tours in the U.S., it covers 1.6 miles and lasts about an hour and a half. You can even rent a Go Pro to capture video of the tour and share it with your friends. It's one of the most thrilling ways to experience the area.
- Winni Marine - 96 Channel Ln., Laconia, NH 03246
If you like boating, you'll want to check out Winni Marine. With locations at both Lake Winnipesaukee and the nearby Lake Winnisquam, they have a variety of boats and boating equipment of all different types and brands available for either sale or rent. Then when the season's done, they can store your boat for the winter. They also have expert mechanics to service or repair your boat, so you can use it to explore the lake for many summers to come.
