The process of visiting a tree farm and selecting your tree can be a lovely way to get into the holiday spirit. Luckily, there are some beautiful tree farms in New Hampshire. Here are a few that our real estate agents recommend.

• Glove Hollow Christmas Tree Farm: 395 DW Highway, Plymouth, NH 03264
  Spend the morning looking at Plymouth homes for sale, then stop by Glove Hollow Christmas Tree Farm for some holiday joy. Here, you can cut your own tree, choosing from many trees with a maximum height of 7.5 feet. Hand saws are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own. Netting is available for an additional $3 per tree.
  
  Glove Hollow Christmas Tree Farm also offers pre-cut trees starting at just $15. After you find the perfect tree, take a hay ride! They run every Saturday and Sunday until dusk. The tube slide and pet goats also make this a great place to visit with kids.
  
  
• Finnegan's Fine Firs: 371 Cherry Valley Rd., Bethlehem, NH 03574
  Finnegan's Fine Firs is a charming Christmas tree farm located just minutes from many Bethlehem homes for sale. Here, you can sip some hot cocoa or apple cider, pet the animals, and wander through rows of evergreen trees until you find the perfect one to cut down. Their trees have won blue ribbons at the North Haverhill Fair!
  
  In addition to trees, Finnegan's Fine Firs sells evergreen wreaths, door swags, kissing balls, and mailbox huggies. Call ahead, and they'll even make you a custom wreath. 
  
  
• Beloin Christmas Tree Farm: 160 Stevens Rd., Colebrook, NH 03576
  Beloin Christmas Tree Farm opened in 1948 and has been a favorite in the Colebrook area ever since. With over 250 acres of land, they grow many varieties of trees, including Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, Blue Spruce, Korean Fir, and even Blue Myer Spruce. Most trees are between 3 and 12 feet tall. 
  
  At Beloin Christmas Tree Farm, you can choose a tree and have it cut to order or pick from various pre-cut trees. The trees are carefully separated by size and variety. Don't forget to stop and look at some Colebrook homes for sale while you're in the area.
  
  
• The Rocks Christmas Tree Farm - 4 Christmas Lane, Bethlehem, NH 03574
  Choose from cut-your-own trees or pre-cut trees at a scenic, turn-of-the-century country farm in the White Mountains. You'll find courteous service and free tree baling, and your purchase from The Rocks Christmas Tree Farm will help support forest conservation in the state. 
  
  The Rocks is open through December 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends. Don't forget to pick up a wreath as well!

• Weston's Farm & Markets - 60 River St., Fryeburg, ME 04037
  Only a 15-minute drive from these North Conway homes for sale, Weston's Farm & Markets is offering cut-your-own Christmas trees once again. Choose from Balsam Fir, Fraser Fi, or Balsam/Fraser Cross. Check in at the farm before driving to the field to find your tree.
  
  Be sure to visit sooner rather than later since quality trees over 9 feet usually go quickly! The cut-your-own tree area is open every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
