This home was recently sold. But, you can view similar properties in Campton, NH on our website. My wife and I lovingly designed 15 Kati A in the woods for privacy & closeness to nature. We designed an open concept area with kitchen, living room and dining room - we wanted to allow for an open concept without constraining walls. We have been very pleased with how our open concept turned out. The master bedroom has an en suite bath and walk-in closet - this eliminates the need for stair climbing! In addition, the laundry is also located on the first floor. The attached garage allows for easy access to the house from the two-stall garage without worrying about the cold or rainy weather. All these features have been great for us and will certainly serve the new owners. The second floor has all kinds of possibilities for...
Oh this day was just truly one of those spring days. This was late March when I took these photos and there was a storm coming in late that day that was to coat us in a blanket of ice. These blue sky days just beg you to stop and take a picture everywhere so you can share this brief moment of time. It had been a few weeks since I had been to Rockwood and I knew things were really starting to shape up and wanted to get photos with the crisp white sugar snow that we had gotten a few days prior with the crisp blue sky. I live in Littleton, NH just a few towns away (only about 20 minutes drive). On this day, I loaded up my dog Lucy (a 10 year old Newfoundland and St. Bernard rescue who just loves to go for a ride) and headed out to go capture the progress. As I drove down Main Street in Littleton, I had to smile to myself. The sun was shining and it had warmed up to 27 from the brisk 6 it was when I first woke up.Â...
When I took these photos, it was Mid-February 2017. And now there has been great progress. One of the focal points of the home is finally starting to take shape - the fireplace. This will be a stone fireplace that will go through the center of the home.

Stone or rock fireplaces can give your home an amazing look that makes you feel like you're in a lodge with friends, gathered around the fire, singing songs and drinking hot cocoa.[/caption]

Rooms are framed in to give more of a defined look. But I will confess something - I am not good with heights. I mean my toes curl and my belly flips when I watch someone else do something high up. So I haven't ventured into the bedroom to the right when you go up the stairs. Althou...
All of us at Peabody & Smith Realty want to say "thank you" to everyone who helped make the Grand Opening at our Meredith office such a wonderful success! We entertained 60+ members of the greater Meredith community, and had a great time meeting everyone! We wanted to take a moment here to offer a few notes of thanks to the following! Thank you  to Lori Harding at Phoenix Title for some of the hors d'oeuvres and refreshments! We had beautiful art work hung throughout the whole building and we thank Vinnie Hale at VynnArt Gallery for all the art that is on display in the office. It looks wonderful, and is a great opportunity for us to help promote the work of our local artisans. Our floral cupcakes were prepared by Henny B's Cakes & Cupcakes – they not only looked great, but were delicious! A...
"When fields are fresh and streams are leaping". . . that's spring in New Hampshire according to the poet Claude McKay. It's the time of year when mud and maple sugaring season give way to festivals, crafts fairs, strawberryfests, and dreams of flip-flops (although the carefree summer days at Weirs Beach are still a ways off). The Lakes Region is home to over 270 lakes, and roughly 85 percent of the area is wooded. Outdoor recreation is what New Hampshire's Lakes Region is all about, and there's no better way to celebrate the outdoors than by festival-hopping across the Granite Stat...
