After a few years road-tripping around the country, owners Chris and Mariah Cann settled down to start their own family. Mariah puts her bakery experience to good use in turning out mouthwatering cinnamon rolls,  bagels, muffins, and doughnuts, while Chris holds down the savory side of the menu, including a variety of hearty breakfast sandwiches served all day.   Along with the eponymous owner, Beth's Kitchen Cafe features two equally important people behind the scenes: Maddy and Conor, Beth's daughter and son. As her kids were growing up, Beth shared her love of food and cooking with them, leading to their roles in the charming cafe near Bridgton homes for sale. Their all-day breakfast menu highlights creative twists from Beth, such as duck or rabbit sausage hash and coconut French toast.   The cozy interior and comfort-food favorites at Morning Glory Diner are throwbacks to that classic old-school style of eatery, but the restaurant provides a bridge to current times with modern takes on many of the dishes. In addition to biscuits & gravy, omelets, and eggs Benedict, guests can choose from dishes such as breakfast nachos and quesadillas, and chicken & waffle skewers. Don't miss their monthly coffee flight with tasting-size portions of four specialty drinks. Hours are 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. daily except Sunday, when doors open at 7 a.m.

  It's fun catching up with family and friends over brunch, but you really don't need an excuse to enjoy the fabulous brunch at Standard Gastropub. With scratch-made food incorporating seasonal ingredients sourced from local growers and providers, Standard definitely levels up the concept of a traditional gastropub. As a result, the menu changes frequently, but sample dishes include grapefruit salad with maple apple ranch, gourmet poutine, miso mac & cheese, and a brisket sandwich that one satisfied customer dubbed "the best outside of Texas." Beer aficionados, take note: more than 200 brands of craft brews are available. Standard Gastropub is open noon - 9 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. weekends.

  If you like to support diverse small businesses and worthy causes, head over to Coffee Coop, located conveniently close to Harrison homes for sale. This women-owned cafe sources their java from Dog House Coffee, which is owned by a Navy veteran and his wife who donate a portion of their proceeds to animal rescues and no-kill shelters. Pair your cup of joe with one of the "best breakfast burritos in the Maine Lakes Region." Hours are 6:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 6 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
