Pound the Pavement This Fall Around NH | Badger Peabody & Smith RealtyCalling all runners! It's time to lace up your shoes and get ready to hit the pavement because the fall is the most beautiful season for road races around New Hampshire. The crisp New England air and gorgeous fall foliage make for an unmatched racing experience. Our real estate agents always keep tabs on upcoming local races, and there are upcoming events for all levels. We thought we'd share our list of racing events you won't want to miss this fall.

  • Annual New Hampshire Marathon - 155 N. Main St., Bristol, NH 03222
    Described by many as one of the most beautiful races in New England, the Annual New Hampshire Marathon allows you to experience stunning fall foliage and picturesque scenery. The course circles Newfound Lake and offers full and half marathons, 10K, and kids races. Runners of all skill levels are welcome, and the race also serves as a Boston Qualifier.   • Mount Washington Marathon - 3168 Base Station Road, Mount Washington, NH 03589
    If you're looking for a fast and beautiful road marathon, check out this unique downhill course with unbelievable views. The Mount Washington Marathon runs from the Cog Railway train station of Mount Washington to Attitash Mountain village. This downhill marathon race can help you set your record time and qualify for other U.S. marathons. 

  • RiverFire 5K - Berlin, NH 03570
    If you live near these Berlin homes for sale, you'll want to take advantage of the RiverFire 5K. This race takes place Saturday, October 19. The course runs along the beautiful Androscoggin River and wraps up at Berlin's RiverFire Celebration, which has food, music, and fun for the whole family. Tickets are $20 or $15 for students.

  • Cranmore Mountain Race - 1 Skimobile Road, North Conway, NH 03860
    October 19 is the Cranmore Mountain Race, a two-lap, 6.2-mile race that will take you up and down the mountain. The course is a mix of grassy ski slopes, gravel service roads, and mountain bike trails, with 2,462 feet of total gain. The event starts at 9 a.m., and the starting line is just down the road from our favorite North Conway homes for sale.

  • Fall Foliage Foot Race - 33 Village Road, Waterville Valley, NH 03215
    If you want to exercise and see bright fall foliage, sign up for the Fall Foliage Foot RaceThe event takes place on Sunday, October 13, near these Waterville Valley homes for sale and features a 5K road race, a 10-mile trail race, and kid's run fun.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the first race begins at 9 a.m.
