Water Activities Around NH This Summer | Badger Peabody & Smith RealtyNew Hampshire is a true four-season destination if ever there was one. Though it's well known for leaf-peeping in autumn and skiing and snowboarding in winter, our part of New Hampshire is every bit as exciting in summer.

When the sun shines, and temperatures soar, the area's lakes provide the perfect backdrop to a summer getaway. These are some of our real estate agents' favorite ways to spend a day in the summertime.

  • Santa's Village Water Park - 528 Presidential Highway, Jefferson, NH 03583
The name "Santa" might not immediately conjure images of sun and surf. But one of our favorite holiday theme parks, Santa's Village, reopens every summer as Santa's Water Park, complete with a splash pad and water slides. It's a perfect place to cool off and have some kid-friendly fun on a warm summer day in New Hampshire. Located just minutes from these Jefferson homes for sale, Santa's Water Park is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and all the year-round rides and attractions will also be operational.

  • Experience Squam Boating Excursions - 859 US-3, Holderness, NH 03245
Spanning over 10 square miles, Squam Lake is known as one of the most scenic of the New Hampshire lakes. You'll be greeted by clear water, tree-lined shores, and views of the White Mountains to the north. For a grand tour, visit Experience Squam for a guided boating excursion on the lake. Tours include anchoring in quiet coves, swimming from the boat, and visiting the famous "Jumping Rock." Experience Squam's launch point is located on the river between Big Squam and Little Squam lakes, a stone's throw from many Holderness homes for sale

  • Whale's Tale Waterpark - 481 Daniel Webster Highway, Lincoln, NH 03251
For over 30 years, Whale's Tale Waterpark has been steadily earning a reputation as one of the top water parks in New England. Located in the shadow of the White Mountains and within a short drive of numerous Lincoln homes for sale, the park spans a whopping 17 acres. You won't find a more fun-filled place to spend a day in New Hampshire, especially if you're visiting with kids. You'll find all the classic water features here, including water slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and surfing beach. Kids will also love the Whale Harbor splash pad and Shipwreck Island.

  • Saco River Tubing - 558 White Mountain Highway, Conway, NH 03818
If a lazy day on the river sounds right up your alley, head straight to Conway, where you can book a relaxing tubing trip with the Saco River Tubing Center. Meandering from the White Mountain foothills, the Saco River is calm and slow-rolling, averaging about 3 feet deep with picturesque sand bars and just a few mild rapids. It's ideal for families and a short drive from many North Conway homes for sale.

  • North Country Kayak - Dodge Hill Launch, Old Waterford Road, Littleton, NH 03561
Located on the shores of Moore Reservoir near the New Hampshire-Vermont state line, North Country Kayak is your gateway to one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. In addition to kayak and gear rentals, North Country Kayak provides guided paddling tours for small groups as well as private tours. It's a great way to explore the water, just minutes from these Littleton homes for sale.
