• Rainbow Falls - 47 Cummings Hill Rd., Plymouth, NH 03264
  An easy hike with a charming 25-foot waterfall, the Rainbow Falls Trail in Walter/Newton Natural Area is a perfect spring hike. Located just minutes from these Plymouth homes for sale, the hike to the falls is just 1.2 miles out and back and includes minimal elevation gain. Spring is the best time to do this hike because Rainbow Falls will be at full flow. Be advised that even though this is an easy hike, it can be muddy this time of year, so good hiking boots are a must-have. 
  
  
• Riverwalk Covered Bridge - 18 Mill St., Littleton, NH 03561
  The Littleton Riverwalk offers a beautiful stroll in the heart of Littleton on the banks of the Ammonoosuc River. The Riverwalk includes two pedestrian bridge crossings: the 352-foot Riverwalk Covered Bridge and the Curran Suspension Bridge. Public parking is available on Mill Street, which is also convenient to many local shops and restaurants, as well as these Littleton homes for sale. 
  
  
• Pemigewasset River Trail - Lincoln, NH 03251
  Following the rocky banks of its namesake stream, the Pemigewasset River Trail is a charming river ramble that offers some great views over the course of a 2.1-mile out-and-back hike. • PSNH Smith Hydro Park - Berlin, NH 03570
  Tucked away in the heart of Berlin, PSNH Smith Hydro Park is a picturesque park on a peninsula formed by the confluence of the Androscoggin and Dead rivers. The Echo Lake Trail departs from a clearly-marked trailhead and kiosk near the parking area and also connects with several additional trails that lead into nearby Cathedral Ledge State Park and White Mountain National Forest.
