Restaurants for Soup - Badger Peabody & Smith RealtyAs fall approaches, you might find yourself craving more warming, comfort foods—like soup. Making soup at home can be enjoyable but also time-consuming. Luckily, plenty of restaurants offer delicious soup around the White Mountains. Here are a few top spots our real estate agents recommend visiting for soup.

  1. Fabyan's Station Restaurant: US 302, Bretton Woods, NH 03575
    Fabyan's Station Restaurant
is located inside an old railroad station across from the Bretton Woods Ski Area. The surroundings are cozy and welcoming—just what you want when you're in the mood for soup. The restaurant is only open Thursday-Sunday, so plan accordingly.

The New England Clam Chowder is a favorite at Fabyan's Station. Guests also love the Brunswick Stew. If you have more of an appetite, you might want to pair your soup with a warm, soft pretzel or a Caesar salad. Make sure you stop to look at some Bretton Woods homes for sale while you're in the area.

  2. The Common Man: 10 Pollard Rd., Lincoln, NH 03251
If you happen to be looking at Lincoln homes for sale, take a soup break at The Common Man. This cozy restaurant has been serving New Hampshire residents and travelers since 1985. They've even been featured in New Hampshire Magazine!

The Lobster Corn Chowder is a favorite at The Common Man. It's served with their warm cornbread on the side. You may also want to try the Baked Onion Soup, served with Swiss cheese on top. If you have room for an entree, you can't go wrong with the Chicken Pot Pie or New York Sirloin.

  3. Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta: 25 S. Mountain Dr., Lincoln, NH 03251
    Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta
is another favorite in Lincoln. They only serve dinner between 5 and 9 pm, so plan accordingly. Consider starting your meal with one of their martinis, such as the Peach Fuzz Bellini-Tini or Snow Bunny.

Jimmy Seas is best known for its pasta, but the Spicy Sicilian Style Seafood Soup is a fan favorite, too. It's loaded with fresh shrimp, scallops, and clams in a creamy base.

  4. Black Cap Grille: 1498 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, NH 03860
Spend the day looking at North Conway homes for sale, then enjoy dinner at Black Cap Grille. This contemporary American eatery is a great place to hang out with friends. They have BYO burgers, awesome steak frites, and seared halibut, sure to please.

The New England Clam Chowder at Black Cap Grille is a popular choice. They also have a Summer Pistou made with fresh harvest veggies, tomatoes, basil, and parmesan cheese.

  5. Table + Tonic: 3358 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway, NH 03860
Table + Tonic is a farm cafe in North Conaway. It's the perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner if you have a busy day and don't want to sit down to a full restaurant experience. They have several different, ready-made soups each day. Common options include chicken noodle and chili.

If you want something with your soup, try the Red Curry Chicken Wrap. Made with red curry chicken salad, it's very satisfying. Another good soup pairing is the ham and cheddar wrap. Finish it all off with a latte or an iced cappuccino to-go.

If you're in the mood for soup, the White Mountains are a great place to be in the fall! If you're looking to buy or sell a home, feel free to contact us. We'd be happy to guide you through the process.
