Nikki Barrett

It is not everyday you get to watch someone grow up in a career - we've gotten to do just that with Nikki Barrett. Nikki was fresh out of college when she joined our firm and it has been a pleasure to watch her as she has expanded her career as a sales associate, received her broker's license, became the Managing Broker of the Littleton office and excelled in all she has put her mind to. She is a leader who works to bring out the best in others and helping to lead her sellers and buyers on their journey home!

Learn more about Nikki and her journey into real estate.

Nikki, how did you land in Real Estate? And how long have you been an agent?

By mistake. I was helping out a friend by doing some data entry - that was 18 years ago!

What did you do before you became a real estate agent?

I was fresh out of college, looking for my dream job and waiting tables until I found it...at the time, I didn't know it really WAS my dream job!

Name a role model who has inspired you in your career.

My sister, Heidi. She was a real estate paralegal when I was in high school and I was able to work in the law office during summer breaks doing imaging. I met a few agents then, not having a clue I would end up working with them as colleagues a few years later!

What do you like to do for fun outside of work?

Travel - I'm always up for exploring new (and old) places. I also love to spend time with my other half, Doug and our dogs on our boat and exploring our land and we like to ride the Harley, too!

Where do you like to go for vacation?

Warm climates, preferably with sand - the USVI's are my new favorite places to go!

What is your favorite local charity?

Wags & Wiggles Rescue - it's were I got to adopt Susie!
