As our Peabody & Smith Realty office at 620 Tenney Mtn Highway in Plymouth turns 7 years old we decided to celebrate with a little cleaning! For the previous 7 years, the office building here has been the storage area for multiple offices odds & ends of furniture - much like our own homes can get! We proceeded to do an early spring cleaning and we made the decision to donate much of the miscellaneous furniture to our neighbors down the street - Pemi-Valley Habitat for Humanity. Pemi-Valley Habitat for Humanity has had their Re-Store for a while now, but just started a new endeavor of estate and property clean outs - whether it be a home or barn, they may be able to help. We felt this would be a great way for us to participate and support this organization that provides safe, secure and affordable housing in the Lakes Region and Pemi-Valley area. Two of the most friendly & personable young men, Griffin and Quinn, (fully masked and using COVID protocols) came by with the Re-Store truck. We walked around and I just pointed - they took the items and put them in the truck. We worked our way from the basement to the third floor. The items were then transported to the Re-Store down the street and sold. These  items will be reused, refurbished, resold & recycled and the proceeds will be used to build, or repair affordable housing for our neighbors in the Pemi-Valley area.
