My, my, my....how things feel very different, on so many levels right now. From how we socialize, work, and carry on in our day to day life.
In years past, this week was a final week of preparation, weather watching, planning, and organizing for the annual Peabody & Smith Customer Appreciation BBQ. An event that is enjoyed by past customers, clients and agents alike for the past 18 years. It offers a great opportunity to visit with everyone, enjoy some yummy food and to chat and reconnect.
Tomorrow, July 3 would have been our 18th Customer Appreciation BBQ – it started as a celebration of 10 years in business and it was such a success, we've kept it going! The one thing that is exactly like years past - the weather forecast. In most recent years, it never failed...as soon as the last hot dog was cooked and last piece of cake was eaten, the sky would open up for rain and thunderstorm. It always made for a fun clean up after a usually hot day.
So, all of us at Peabody & Smith Realty will be missing you tomorrow, but please know that we are sending happy thoughts of a safe summer to you and your loved ones. We hope to take this time to reimagine the event for next year and continue our tradition! But for now, here is a blast from the past - our Broker/Owner Andy Smith cooking at the grill in 2005!
