As real estate agents, we don't just open doors and drive around all day! We attend continuing education classes in order to better serve you, our customers and clients. We also attend national conferences to get a better handle on what is happening not only in our backyards, but also globally. Recently we went to the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World conference in Las Vegas. Typically people who visit Vegas say "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." As two top producers we wanted to write a blog featuring key points of what we learned about the real estate market and how the motivational speakers have us revved for the upcoming busy spring market! We started with the opening session and were quickly reminded how connected we are to our communities working with Peabody & Smith Realty. Did you know that yes, we are local but we are also global? What does that mean for you? It means whether you need real estate services in your neighborhood or in another state or country, we can help. For you, we want to constantly add value to your experience with us and we are confident that we will be the right fit. Keeping up with new technology and market conditions help us to provide you a unique experience with clear goals and ultimately fulfilling your hopes & dreams. The first motivational speaker was two-time Olympic medal winner Amy Purdy. She spoke about the power of intention—what are you going to do today? If your intention is to buy or sell a house, it is best to have an agent that you can hold accountable for what they say they are going to do for you. There are many options out there and the best way to have the best experience is making sure you are with the right agent. Amy enjoys helping other athletes achieve their goals. We both have this in common with her. We want to help our buyers and sellers achieve their goals. Amy finished up her talk with this quote "Look at challenges as gifts, use them and push off of them to bring you to your next amazing adventure." We're here to support your next adventure! We believe this industry is about relationships. Let's talk about leveling up customer experiences for long-term loyalty. We want you to feel like you are the only client we are working with. We don't want to do more, we want to become more! This is not just a transaction. We want your experience to be a personal interaction that helps you achieve your goals with as little aggravation as possible. We are always willing to show up & work hard—going above AND beyond your expectations. We are seeing the market level out and that is a good thing. Instead of watching home prices soar and increase at rapid levels, they are projected to increase at a much more stable pace of right around 3% annually from 2019 to 2020 which is a much more "normal" appreciation. The market slowing down a little doesn't mean a housing crisis is on the horizon. Good news . . . We are not heading into another great recession! Lack of inventory is still something we are struggling with, however with warmer weather in the forecast for the coming months, it's still a great time to buy and sell. Let us be your guide in the real estate industry! This trip was a great experience, but it wasn't all business all the time. We did leave a few chips in Vegas but with the knowledge we gained we can be your winning ticket to your next jackpot transaction!
