For Melissa Palmer, she had a lifelong desire to pursue a real estate career and she achieved that goal and has recently joined our firm and is working out of our Holderness office. Melissa was born and raised on the coast of Northern California and spent over 20 years working in the resort industry. She and her children along with her companion Eric relocated to the Lakes Region and White Mountains a year ago as both decided to pursue career opportunities in the area. Melissa told me recently that when her career started, she trained as a legal assistant and worked for a number of law firms. She then decided on a career change and entered the resort industry as an esthetician. She enjoyed helping her customers on a personal level, and decided real estate was a way to combine her desire of helping others while still utilizing her legal training. As anyone who moves to a new area has to do, Melissa makes it a point to educate herself daily on the lakes and mountains regions and truly understand all the area offers for those that live here full-time or seasonally.
