All of our offices enjoy spreading the generosity of the holiday season, truly one of the best feelings of the year. At Peabody & Smith, we think of ourselves as a "work family". A "work" family who enjoys gathering together and doing something to help someone else. This year was no exception for us. We participated in many different giving programs in the communities we serve. In Littleton, we kicked off the Thanksgiving season with a food collection, and collected numerous boxes of food that were delivered to the Littleton Food Pantry. The agents and staff in the Plymouth, Holderness, Meredith & Franconia offices collected warm winter weather clothing and gifts for 19 children at Wentworth Elementary School. The generosity overflowed into 75 items ranging from necessary clothing and a wish list of fun items based on the individual'/s need. In the Littleton & Bretton Woods offices, the staff and agents participated in the area Caring Tree program, and purchased items for some names on the tree. The agents spent a morning purchasing snowsuits, boots, and toys - based on what was requested for each recipient. The joy of giving goes beyond this season, and we look forward to continuing another year of charitable giving. In the last five years, Peabody & Smith has donated over $150,000 to area non-profits, not including what our agents and staff do individually. We hope you enjoy your holiday season!
