P&S: At this time, you feel the time is right to leave the beautiful Warren community. What led you to this decision?
Sellers: We had to leave the friendly town of Warren due to a military move to Texas.
P&S: Why is it great to live in the Town of Warren? What did you enjoy about the White Mountain area.
Sellers: Warren, NH offers a quiet town atmosphere with friendly neighbors. Warren hosts several 4-wheel-drive mud-runs at Mountain Mud Run Terrain Park in Warren, town fairs, fireworks events, car/motorcycle shows and is home to Moose Hillock Camp/Waterpark and Lake Tarleton. It is a 30-minute drive from Loon Mountain Ski Area & Resort and is also home to the New Hampshire ATV/Snowmobile trails and the Appalachian Trail. A new Green House restaurant, Appleknockers Grille, 7/11, and soon to be new gas station/novelty store are also located in Warren – a business friendly community.
P&S: Where do you shop and dine in the White Mountain area community and why do you enjoy those places?
Sellers: We shop at two different Walmart locations – you can choose from either the Woodsville or Plymouth stores, which are both 25-minute drives from our home. We also shop at the Hannaford Super Market in Plymouth because of the friendly service. We eat at Hawg's Catch Smoked BBQ in North Haverhill, The Green House Restaurant, Moose Scoops Ice Cream, and Appleknockers Grille in Warren, as well as many restaurants in Plymouth that all offer friendly service and good food.
P&S: What did you look forward to the most when you came to your home in Warren?
Sellers: We looked forward to the tranquil/quiet mountain views while we watch the wild turkeys and deer feed in our backyard from our elevated deck. We also looked forward to riding the snowmobile/ATV trails that are a 1/4-mile down our street. The trails span over 250 miles throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. The close proximity to waterparks, campgrounds, lakes/rivers, the Appalachian Trail, theme parks, ski resorts, and a 2 1/2-hour commute to Boston, provided us with endless entertainment and day trips. For a fall event we loved participating in the Leaf Peepers foliage road trips throughout Vermont and New Hampshire to view the beauty of leaf color change throughout the mountains.
P&S: What cultural events and other types of events can you recommend to people coming into the community?
Sellers: Warren Old Home Day, 4-wheel drive mud runs.
P&S: What events brought you the most pleasure?
Sellers: For us, it was those event we mentioned above. We recommend them and we've enjoyed them over the years!
P&S: What tips would you give to new people coming into the community?
Sellers: Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountains and friendliness of the town people. Don't forget to drop by Moose Scoops Ice Cream for wicked-good ice cream flavors. (Voted at the top by WMUR TV viewers as the best ice cream shop in the state and its close by!)
P&S: What were the favorite features of your home? What did you enjoy the most?
Sellers: We enjoyed the one level living, the mountain views, the upgrades we made for an entertainment room, guest room, and extra room for a gym or other space. We also have a small personal trail to walk on during the spring or winter. Warren is a great town, and this is a great home, we know a new owner will love it as much as we have.
