Nordic Skier Wolfeboro XC in Wolfeboro boasts 30 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails. Cross-country skiing is an ideal way to enjoy the outdoors on trails that wind through woods and snow-blanketed meadows.

Winterfest at Squam Lake

Every winter on Squam Lake, the Squam Lakes Association hosts Winterfest. It's a day of fun for the whole family, and is always well attended by residents who live in the area. A gigantic bonfire takes center stage, but there are plenty of activities, including a large artificial ice skating rink for hockey, ice skating on Squam Lake itself, a chili cook off, and winter mini-golf.
