Back in the fall when I took these photos, the timber frames were being put in place, and it's really exciting to see the plans coming to life! I wish the pictures that accompany this post could do this justice. The foliage was truly breathtaking. I think everyone agrees that it was one of the most vibrant foliage seasons in years. We lucked out and didn't have any leftover hurricanes blow through until the very end so the foliage stayed. Lots of reds, and we were all worried with the lack of rain there wouldn't be much of a foliage season, but it worked out very well. In these photos, the first floor Timbers were being put in place. This is a true timber frame home. They have been precision milled and there will be no nails or glue. Our office in Littleton is also an old Timber frame and there are just wooden pegs.
