Peep! Peep!
...And I'm not talking about the Summer Peepers, but the peeping leaves! I've lived here a long time, a lifelong Granite Stater and every fall, the foliage is spectacular. Personally, I love the vibrant reds and oranges.

The Kancamagus Highway, or "the Kank," is a 34.5 mi (55 km) long two-lane road that runs, east and west overall, through the White Mountains of New Hampshire in New England, United States. //all photos from Flickr[/caption]
Looking for a few notable leaf peeping routes?
- Head up to Route 3 North and take in some amazing sites in Pittsburg at the Connecticut Lakes.
- If you'd like to try and see wildlife too, travel Route 3 North to Colebrook and take Route 26 East towards Errol. You'll continue through 13 Mile Woods into Berlin/Gorham and keep east towards Conway.
- Franconia Notch and Crawford Notch are always spectacular, too. They've got great places to hike to take in all the changing colors.
The tradition in my family is to hit
Windy Ridge Apple Orchard in Haverhill, NH after a nice ride and picking our own apples. We usually snag a few pumpkins too and never (ever!) leave without homemade, hot apple cider donuts.
Maybe I'll see you there!
