A Chat With Our Home Seller in Bethlehem NH

We are pleased to bring a new feature to our blog, a chat with one of our current sellers in Bethlehem. Our homeowners at
46 Noyes Street in Bethlehem have owned their home for many years, and now offer this fully updated, cozy log cabin with 2 car garage in the heart of town to you!
To get a sense of what is like to live in
Bethlehem, NH, we asked a few questions:
P&S: At this time, you feel the time is right to leave the beautiful Bethlehem community. What led you to this decision?
Sellers: We put our hearts into updating this cabin. The home has been our getaway. We have motorcycled, fished, golfed, hiked, skied, had campfires, enjoyed our neighbors and created memories. However, our children are entrenched in extra-curricular activities that are keeping all of us in Southern NH. It's time to let it go to someone who will enjoy the space and the surrounding area.
P&S: Why is it great to live in the White Mountains of New Hampshire? What did you enjoy about the Bethlehem area?

Sellers: So many thoughts come to mind. Just in the heart of Bethlehem we have enjoyed the restaurants, convenience to all the amenities,
The Colonial Theater, two golf courses –
The Maplewood and the
Bethlehem Country Club, town pool, and the ability to walk to town and great neighbors!
There is SO much to do here if you wish! The rivers are fun to raft or fish, skiing, hiking, and snow machining are just a few more fun things. In terms of skiing, the
Bretton Woods Ski Area and
Cannon Mountain are both within a 15 minute drive.
P&S: Where do you shop and dine in Bethlehem and the surrounding communities. Why do you enjoy those places?
Sellers: We have enjoyed all the restaurants in Bethlehem.
Rosa Flamingo's has been a frequent pick. It is a 2 block walk and Jody and his staff are always eager to please and serve great food.
Maia Papaya is the perfect coffee shop and also has delicious treats for breakfast and lunch. Tiffany is always happy to see us and eager for updates!
The Cold Mountain Cafe is also right on the Main Street. We also enjoy the
WREN Local Works Marketplace store for beautiful gift items and crafts – the store's focus is locally made and created. At this time of year, we also enjoyed the two Christmas tree farms in Bethlehem -
The Rocks Estate and
Finnegans Fine Firs.
P&S: What did you look forward to the most when you came to your home in Bethlehem?

Sellers: Even with all the possible activities, we always looked forward to the peaceful aspect of our cabin. It's quiet, great conscientious neighbors, all modern amenities and little up keep. All the kids love tubing down the river!
P&S: What cultural events and other types of events can you recommend to people coming into the community?
Sellers:
The Colonial Theatre has wonderful programming and events.
The Rocks Estate has programs throughout the year. The town of Bethlehem hosts a great Christmas event.
The Local Works Marketplace has an outside market in the summer. The town also has a summer concert series in the park on Sunday evenings. Also, Bethlehem also has a
brand new town library on Rte. 302.
P&S: What events brought you the most pleasure?
Sellers: We have frequented the Sunday concerts at the gazebo and The Colonial Theatre.
P&S: What tips would you give to new people coming into the community?
Sellers: Enjoy the local people and do what you love! Take advantage of the host of opportunities this town has to offer.
P&S: What were the favorite features of your home? What did you enjoy the most?
Sellers: The simplicity of living there! With all updated systems, there is not much upkeep. The kitchen is probably a favorite because it is always the social hub and so easy to cook and socialize at the same time. We love the hot water on demand instead of a large water heater. We have enjoyed the coziness of the bedroom. The entire log home is cozy, comfortable, easy to use and still suits a variety of needs!
