A Chat With Our Home Seller in Lisbon, NH

We are pleased to bring a new feature to our blog, a chat with one of our current sellers in Lisbon. Our homeowners at 200 Landaff Rd, have owned their home for many years, and now offer this Fabulous Victorian styled farmhouse totally renovated to offer family living in style "in town" yet in the country.
To get a sense of what is like to live in Lisbon, we asked a few questions:
P&S: At this time, you feel the time is right to leave the beautiful Lisbon, Littleton area community. What led you to this decision?
Sellers: My husband is a business consultant and his clients are all over on the coast, and since I retired in December, I thought it would be a good time to relocate to spend more time together. After 35 years of marriage we still enjoy each other's company!
P&S: Why is it great to live in the Lisbon Village/Littleton area? What did you enjoy about the area?

Sellers: We have enjoyed the endless beauty and old fashioned values of the area.
P&S: Where do you shop and dine in Lisbon Village/Littleton community, and why do you enjoy those places?
Sellers:
All Good Foods Café is a family owned business that offers great food at the bottom of the hill and the
Lisbon Village Pizza has the best Greek Salad right across the street from it. Larger restaurants are either a left to Woodsville or a right turn to get to Littleton.
P&S: What did you look forward to the most when you came to your home in Lisbon?

Sellers: Getting involved in the Community, which I did. And making many long lasting friendships.
P&S: What cultural events and other types of events can you recommend to people coming into the community?
Sellers: The Festivals like
Lilac Time and the Fall Festival of the Arts were great. In addition, the fireworks at Lilac Time are always fun.
P&S: What events brought you the most pleasure?
Sellers: The
Littleton Taste, Tunes & Brew Fest, the
Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce Art show, and parades in all of the towns.
P&S: What tips would you give to new people coming into the community?
Sellers: Expect to make a difference and get involved. You won't be sorry. You can connect with people from all over the country up here. Many of the people are from other states.
P&S: What were the favorite features of your home? What did you enjoy the most?

Sellers: This has been my dream home…it is spacious and charming yet modern. There is lots of storage and great quality appointments. I have a choice of rooms to put the Christmas tree up and just as many places to store it. This home is cool in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter. Being on a New Hampshire State Road, the snow is never a problem – it is plowed regularly! Everything is nearby…easy shopping in the downtown stores can get you up and back in 10 minutes if you run out of something! We have town sewer and water with reasonable rates, no maintenance for those things. Service providers are honest, competent, and reliable in this area. It is the place truly where everyone knows your name. There is comfort in that.
