White MountainsIf you are searching for homes for sale in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, reviewing some of the best locations can help to save time when comparing available real estate. Finding White Mountains homes for sale is easier when working with professionals, but first, familiarize yourself  with the area by checking out its scenic attractions, such as these 5 beautiful waterfalls: Arethusa Falls Arethusa Falls attracts thousands of visitors each year, just 1 1/2 miles south off of a path from Willey House (Rt. 302 in Crawford Notch). The falls themselves are 200 feet in height and are best viewed from below, as the paths and rocks surrounding the top of the falls are dangerous. In addition to Arethusa Falls, sightseeing individuals also have access to Coliseum Falls along with Bemis Brook. Both of the additional waterfalls are just less than .5 miles from Arethusa falls, making for an enjoyable afternoon. Swimming is possible at Arethusa falls as long as you do so downstream, keeping away from more intense currents. The Basin, Cascades, Kinsman Falls, and Rocky Glen Falls These cascades are all within a mile of one another, ideal for picnic spots, and have been said to have been formed more than 250,000 years ago. Diana's Baths Diana's Baths is .5 miles from Cathedral's Ledge and is surrounded by cascading waterfalls, granite basins, and waterspouts. Jackson Falls Jackson Falls is beside Carter Notch Road and is known for swimming, hosting picnics, and even planning wedding events due to its beautiful surroundings. Avalanche Falls, Liberty Gorge Cascade, and The Pool These waterfalls and cascades are near the Flume Gorge, with the most dramatic of the fall being 45 feet in height. Seeing all three of the falls only requires a round-trip hike of approximately 2 miles.
