Rockingham Recreational Trail - Manchester, New Hampshire The Rockingham Recreational trail is approximately 26 miles long and has a difficulty rating of "moderate." You should plan on a full day if you want to complete this trail. You can use this trail year-round while enjoying its beautiful ponds and bridges. 2. Mt. Chocorua - Pequawket, New Hampshire The Mt. Chocorua hiking trail is extremely popular due to its rocky terrain over several mountains in the Whites and because of its breathtaking views. This trail is approximately 10 miles long and has a difficulty rating of "difficult." You can expect it to take half a day to complete. 3. Mt. Moosilauke - North Woodstock, New Hampshire The Mt. Moosilauke trail is a loop hike with an optional ski decent at certain times of the year. This trail is approximately eight miles long and has a difficulty rating of "moderate." Plan on this trail taking at least a half a day to complete. 4. Franconia Ridge - Mt. Lincoln & Lafayette - Franconia, New Hampshire The Franconia Ridge trail is an extremely rigorous ridge-hike with fantastic views from every angle. This trail is approximately 8.5 miles long and has a difficulty rating of "difficult." You should expect this hike to take you the entire day to complete. 5. Ashuelot Rail Trail - Keene, New Hampshire The Ashuelot Rail trail is wildly popular due to its wide variety of covered bridges along the way. This trail is approximately 22 miles long and has a difficulty rating of "moderate." You should allow yourself a full day to complete this trail.
