As a local, I love living here amidst the warmth of the people from the small surrounding communities, As a professional working in the area I have the privilege of introducing customers and clients moving to the area the same feeling. It's such a proud feeling to drive down the Main Street in Littleton NH sharing our area with visitors as they marvel at the pedestrian friendly feeling of this and obvious warmth that Littleton and our other nearby towns exude. The Pianos on the street as part of the Littleton Piano Project in the warmer months, the energy of people mingling on the sidewalks, and the holiday festivities make this town so special. While parking to run into a local shop in Littleton the other day and make a Christmas purchase, I fed the parking meter. Upon return I noticed what looked to be a ticket on the windshield - I realized it was a "holiday pass"! A bit of grace period if you will, extending the meter time! Had it been a ticket I would have thought hmmm, did I shop that long, as the meter had been fed but obviously not enough! Instead, it was a generous holiday gesture that gave me a warm feeling and sense of pride in the community. Way to go Littleton NH, making people feel warm and welcomed once again in a fun creative way! Next time the parking meter will gladly be overfed with quarters! Thank you and Merry Christmas to you!
