front_house-copy-300x225At our Franconia NH office, we have a great agent named Charlie Crannell, and Charlie loves history and historic homes. Whenever we have a great historic area home on the market, Charlie does a great job explaining the history of a property. A great example of this, is this historic home in Bethlehem NH that we have for sale. This home was part an original Maplewood Hotel Cottage, number 14. The Maplewood Golf Club and Inn is still operational, but the term cottage is deceiving! This cottage is a year round home with three large bedrooms, spacious closets and there is also a one bedroom guest cottage with solid rental history. This home was completely renovated and is a true gem of the Bethlehem area! For more information on the Bethlehem's history, you can stop by the Bethlehem Heritage Society, next time you are in town. They love visitors and it's a great spot to check out. Their chamber also has a great website, to tell you more about the history of this town.
