Not sure if any of us really believed the weather reports yesterday, after all it was 62 degrees, sunny and absolutely beautiful. The daffodils were in full bloom gracing "mud season" with bursts of yellow everywhere. Today, I sit in my office listening to the rumbling of over a foot of snow falling off the metal roof of our building.
Looking across the parking lot towards the ski area, well… you would just have to know that it was there, because you cannot see it through the snow. A foot of snow overnight and still snowing! If this were November we would all be hooting and hollering, thankful that mother nature had blessed us with a wonderful base for the upcoming ski season, but since this is April, and not JUST April, but the END of April, we are just a little on the blue side. The good thing about April snow is they say it is good for the lawns.
The better thing about April snow, is that historically it should melt QUICKLY! Yesterday we were spreading mulch in our flower beds, today we are shoveling our paths! Life is full of excitement and full of challenges..think I'll head out and build a snowman!
