About Me

I am a native of New Hampshire and have lived and worked in the Lakes Region for the past 42 years. I attended Idaho State University in Pocatello from 1965 to 1970, where I majored in Architecture and Engineering. I then practiced as a Civil Engineering Designer in Idaho for 8 years, moving back to Concord in 1978 to work in a family owned business. I joined the New Hampshire Colonials team in 1991, and then transitioned over to the dynamic team here in 2013.  I have been a consistent top performer in both firms. In 1994, I earned the first 4 Million Dollar+ Producer Award in New Hampshire Colonials history from the Lakes Region Board of Realtors. In 2004, I was the selling agent for the largest transaction ever sold on Squam Lake to that date, and the largest residential sale in Northern New England for 2004 at $6.25 million. In 2013, as an agent for the Peabody and Smith team, I sold the largest residential sale in New Hampshire and the largest in Peabody and Smith history at $7 million.

I am also a practicing licensed Auctioneer, doing benefit auctions for local schools, churches and organizations throughout New Hampshire. In addition, I was also involved in Holderness 2000 as the community concert organizer. I have been involved in my local conservation commission, and was a former board member of the New Hampshire Bible Society. As an Eagle Scout, I have been in Scouting since 1958, and for 8 years was the Northern New England District Director for the Scouting group, Royal Rangers. I was also the Coordinator for a local scouting group in Tilton. I live in Wentworth with my wife of 53 years, author Rita Dawn Love. We are the proud parents of 7 children, and in May of 2004, proudly announced the graduation of their 7th child from college. We are also the grandparents of 7 princes' and 2 princesses.

In my "spare" time, I work on my  organic farm, raising organic strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, an orchard of peaches, apricots, apples, pears and cherries as well as a wide array of organic vegetables.
